I advise developers, owners, and property managers in transactional and regulatory compliance matters concerning multifamily affordable housing programs. I assist clients in Section 8 assignments and renewals as well as transfers of ownership of HUD-assisted properties and changes in management agents.
Before joining the firm, I was a Legal Fellow for the District of Columbia Housing Authority’s Office of General Counsel.

Representative Matters
- Represented numerous clients across the country in obtaining HUD approvals for Chapter 15 Mark-Up-To-Market renewals with post-rehabilitation rent increases, HAP assignments, and change in management agents.
- Represented a client in obtaining HUD approvals in Louisiana to assign Mark-to-Market debt to a Qualified Nonprofit, complete a transfer of physical assets (TPA), and complete an assignment of the HAP contract.
- Represented a client in obtaining HUD approvals for a multifaceted portfolio transaction in New Jersey including approval to transfer Mark-to-Market Use Agreements to a new construction site, a Chapter 15 Mark-Up-To-Market renewal, and HAP assignments of multiple projects.
